What we're doing:
April 8-May 13 2026, weekly: KBR Plus Hangouts Round 1: We held our first round of free online "hangouts," to talk about a submitted revision question, chat about events in publishing, preview upcoming workshops, and just enjoy hanging out. At the first two sessions we solicited your ideas about what you'd like to see us offer in workshops, retreats, or other events. Learn more here about these Hangouts.
June 2-August 11 2026, fortnightly: KBR Plus Hangouts Round 2: Registration is open via Eventbrite for our second round of free online "hangouts," set up much like the first round, but at two week intervals and alternating times for East and West Coast folks. What we're thinking about for the rest of 2026 and beyond:
Online Workshops: In the works for later this year--one- and two-session workshops, panel discussions, and longer classes. Online Retreat: We ran a fully online retreat in the early years of Covid, via the Highlights Foundation/Boyds Mills, and hope to bring it back later this year or early next year. Custom Events: We can custom-build workshops or retreats for your group. Contact us Other Events: We have ideas for other events, bringing in other editors, agents, experts in other areas (marketing, social media, etc.). Watch this space!
